Jägerndorf, a town of Austrian Silesia, close to the frontier, by rail 34 miles W. of Ratibor and 18 NW. of Troppau, has manufactures of woollen cloth, linen, organs, &c. Pop. 14,792. From 1377 there was an independent principality of Jägerndorf; in 1742 its territories were divided between Prussia and Austria.
