Guillim, JOHN, heraldic writer, born in Herefordshire, about 1565, was most of his life an official of the College of Arms in London. In 1610 he published The Display of Heraldry, the materials for which, however, were supplied by John Bark- ham (c. 1572–1642), chaplain to the Archbishop of Canterbury. Guillim died 7th May 1621.
